American students eat or drink something during the classes at school. First, when I went to church with my host family, I saw a class in the church. They were eating some candies or chocolates and so on, and they were also drinking a cup of juice during the class. I was surprised about that. Second, we sometimes eat chocolate during classes, too because teachers give us a chocolate when we correctly answer the questions. Japanese teachers have never given us some food or something to drink during the classes, even if we are correct. Finally, I think an American class's attitude is not good for studying, because it's time for studying, not for eating. But I also think it's a good way to study, because students are motivated by the food or drink. And it's new and fun for me. Japanese teachers can take the custom to their classes and they can be more fun. There is a big difference between American classes and Japanese ones. It was an interesting thing for me.
