Camping with my host family

I was really excited last weelend!!!! I went camping by trailer with my host family to South West of America. When they picked me up with a trailer, which is called a camping car in Japan, I was really surprised at it because it is unusual to see in Japan! It was my first time to sleep in the trailer so I was so happy to experience a new thing. The inside of the trailer was bigger than what I imagined and I could use water, bathroom and fire in the kitchen. Then it was exciting for me to sleep inside but it was so cold...

On the first night there we roasted marshmallows with a fire, and we ate biscuits with the marshmallows and chocolate between, it is called "S'mores." It is a kind of American traditional to eat at the camping. It was really really delicious and I love them so much!!!! If you go camping in Japan, you should bring the marshmallows and eat them! I'm sure you will like them.

On the second day we went to hike to a small hill. It was sunny day and the sky was beautiful so I took a lot of pictures there! The view of the top was very nice and it was like around Colombia river. I haven't seen such a vast desert! I was impressed it!! We fixed the rest of every meal in the trailer and they were good!! On the other hand my host family drank juice every meal. I was surprised to do such a thing because in Japan we never do that! So I thought I would be unhealthy during the camping...Anyway I had a great time there with my host family:)
