The East Coast Trip

I really enjoyed the East Coast Trip. First, I visited Boston where is my favorite place. I went to Beacon Hill. It is a charming residential area and I love it very much. The houses and streets are so pretty and historical. I thought I wanted to live there. Beacon Hill is fabulous. I also visited Orchard House which is the home of Louisa May Alcott. I love "Little Women" so I was excited. The house was kept beautiful and I admired it. I visited Plymouth Plantation as well. It is a copy of Plymouth village. I was able to see actors playing the parts of people who lived there long ago. I asked them about their life and it was interesting. I ate turkey there and it was so delicious. Cranberry sauce matched it. Second, I went to Washington, D.C. It was very warm and a little hot. There are many cherry blossoms trees which had young yellow green leaves. I was happy to see them because they reminded me of Japanese spring. I visited many memorials there. I like Lincoln Memorial the best because I know him well and I remembered the Gettysburg Address when I had a test to recite it. I was exited to see the big statue of Lincoln. It was the very day that the pope was in Washington, D. C. and I head many people were coming to see him. I wanted to meet him from my interest, but I was not able to meet him. I visited Smithsonian museums and they were wonderful. First, I visited Museum of Natural History. I saw the Hope diamond there and it was beautiful and very big. Next, I visited Air and Space Museum. I could touch a moon rock there. Then, I went to National Gallery of Art. I saw paintings by DaVinci and Monet. They are very beautiful and sophisticated. I was really glad to see them. The trip was fabulous. I really enjoyed it.
