Things Japan Doesn't Have

I think American people are really friendly. I think it's a value of Americans. Japanese tend to be shy and modest. I think that Japanese people have no conversation with people who they don't know. But I found there is conversation in a lot of stuations in America. They are so friendly and warm.


When I went to the supermarket and payed at the register, the clerk said to me, "Hello! How are you?" She was so friendly. It's impossible in Japan. Japanese clerks just say "Welcome." In addition, some clerks have no smiles on their faces. American clerks' words make my heart warm. These seem to be natural things in American. I like a nature such as the American nature. I think it's nice to exchange conversation in our life. Talking and smiling anyway makes us happy.

I have found that it's important to exchange words with people. It's the difference of culture between America and Japan. But by learning this, I thought Iwill try to say "thank you" more to bus drivers and others. Exchanging only one word makes people happy. Americans taught me important things for our daily life.
