talking with ESL students!!

Yesterday, our group members and my RA went to Gonzaga University.

We talked with ESL students for one hour and learned a lot about foreign cultures.

My friend Miho and I talked with a Saudi Arabian boy and a Taiwanese lady about our food ,

religion and our future. A Saudi Arabian guy, his name is Alie,didn't know Sushi!! In Saudi

Arabia, they don't eat fish but use them as medicine, so when I talked about Sushi, which used

fresh fish, he was so shocked and seemed to feel danger about Sushi. ha-ha.

We all have thought American people are not kind to strangers and they all have their own guns

before we came to America, but we don't think so now!!

I learned an amazing thing about Islam. Islamic countries pray their doctrine 5 times a day at

same direction, so he does it everyday in America!! 5 times a day!! It's horrible for me!

I wonder how he does it during his classes....run away from class? ha-ha.
