Special Wednesday

I had a special day last Wednesday. In my first class, I met my secret pen pal. We changed the letters every week, but we didn't know each other. I had to ask questions to find her. I remember she likes coffee, so I asked "Do you like coffee?", but her answer was not clear, so I didn't think she was my pen pal. But she doesn't like baseball. I knew she didn't like it, so I was surprised. And she asked me, "Your number is 9?" I replied "Yes! 9!" We jumped and shouted. The most amazing thing was that my high school and her high school are very near. Our conversation became lively. I'm very happy she is my pen pal. In my second class, I went to an elementary school to read a book for children. I'm not good at reading, so I was a little nervous. My partner was a boy. When I met him for the first time, I thought he was shy because he hid his face. But it was my misunderstanding. He is very animated and he talked to me a lot. We had lunch together. After lunch, I went outside and kept running with him. I felt I returned a child. In the evening, I had a host family appreciation party. My host family came. I talked about the East Coast Trip. They are interested in my pictures of the East Coast Trip, so I showed them. When they heard I took about three hundred pictures, they were so surprised. I was happy they came in spite of being busy. It may be the last meeting with them, but I will keep in touch with them with E-mail.
