Tutorial Time

I’ve really enjoyed our tutorial sessions. We did a lot of activities, and I enjoyed every one of them, but I’ll tell you some of my best memories.

One of the best memories is rock climbing. I tried 3 times. On my 1st and 2nd try, I gave up climbing half way to the top… and on the 3rd time, I almost gave up again. However, Shanoaha and my group members cheered me up, so I did not want to give up, or rather, I could not give up! I did my best, and finally I could reach the top! I felt a strong sense of achievement, and I thought that I could finally be a Spider Woman! I figured out it was important to do my best and to appreciate people around me who encourage me to do my best.

Another exciting Tutorial experience was laser shooting a few days ago. I was afraid of darkness and strangers, but my fear went away after a little while, and I had a lot of fun! It was very dark, so it made me lonely and scary a little. However, we shot each other even if we did not know each other because I wanted to make a good score. After all, my score was not really good, but I felt satisfied because I thoroughly enjoyed it! Therefore, laser shooting also became one of my best memories and precious experiences.

Finally, my group members gave me a party on my 19th birthday. I was surprised, but I was very happy! I heard that my RA Shanoaha asked the other RA, Lolo, to make a cake for me, and it was shaped like Mr. Potato Head! I was really glad!! I think that 19th birthday was my best birthday in my life. I'm sure that we will have more precious experiences during our stay here, so I want to cherish each experience forever!
