Moving Checkout Counter

I was surprised that the checkout counter was moving when I want to supermarket with my friends. I bought a lot of things, such as snacks and juice and I lined up at the checkout counter. Then, I found it was moving . I had to take out these things from basket and put them on the counter. I thought it was important to separate from others, because the register will make a mistake. In fact, my friend was made a mistake by register which didn't know which things are yours. However, I like this system. I think this system is convenient for me, because the clerk put into the bag behalf of me. I've never seen it in Japan. So, I hope it is introduced in Japan.
