The East Coast Trip

Learning history is a very interesting thing for me. I love to learn history by reading books, listening to people and watching films etc... Fortunately, I could have chance to visit the East Coast of the U.S.A., which has a lot of historical things. I was really excited to go there. This is because we can learn a lot more by visiting than just reading book or watching films. It's a sort of experiencing things using our own sense. We visited Boston and Washington D.C., which were full of historical buldings and sites. I'm really interested in American history which is a nation that has the strongest power in this world. I wanted to know how people made this country and what is the thing that made America to be the strongest nation.

I mean the strongest nation is that America is the country which has the most affection towards the world. I'm sure this experience will help me to learn this country and get along well with the nation the U.S.A..

The first place that we visited was Plymoth where first pilgrims arrived by the ship named 'Mayflower' I was standing the place where something really remarkable happened, I felt the history that place has and it was literally fascinating experience to have. We also visited the Plymouth plantation and there were actors who pretend if they were the people that came from
England. They called the place where they arrived- I mean America, 'New England'. They
tried to do same thing same thing in England. For example they grew the vegetables from

England and they tried hard to have same food and custom as they used to live. Here is a interesting thing to think about. They did not try to create new..their own style. That represent
how did people felt about England. They wanted to get a freedom of religion and they sailed off from England, however, they still loved their country until king George the 3rd sat on his throne and made them to pay extra tax. The colonists got angry about 'taxation without representation'. This is because they could have sent their represenatives to England and
was very hard for them to keep contacting with British, so they gradually frustrated the circumstances that they had and they refused to pay taxes. Finally the British sent their soldiers and they got to fight each other.

We actually visited the place where the first battle happened, and our tour guide taught us that the first battle started by a fire who is never known. she also told us that it's said that first shoot was made by his nervousness. This story sounded really realistic for me and that helped me to imagine what's the thing that happened where I was standing. I could enjoyed our visiting and I also learned a lot from this trip.
