Wonderful East Coast Trip☆

I went to the East Coast Trip from 12 April to 17th April. I left MFWI at 5 am. It was so early that I was very sleepy. On the first day, the schedule was only a transfer. First, I went to Boston. To go to Boston, I had to change the airplanes twice. When I reached Logan International Airport, I felt tired very much. But when I arrived at the hotel my exhaustion vanished because it was so beautiful and gorgeous! I had never stayed at a hotel like that. Dinner was also luxurious. The dessert was a chocolate cake and it was so delicious.
On the second day, I went to see the Mayflower Ⅱ. It is the ship that the 102 pilgrims rode when they came to America. It was so small that I couldn't believe 102 people were on it. The most exciting place in second day was Orchard House. It was the house of Louisa May Alcott who is famous for Little Women. It was cute. I bought a book to read in Japan. I have no confidence to read it all but I want to. In the night I held the sweet and talking party with my friends. It was very fun but I was very sleepy.
On the third day, I walked a lot. I thought the scene of Boston was building in old days. I had much free time. I enjoyed shopping very much. The price of the name-brand souvenir is less than that of Japan, so I bought a key holder in coach shop and many cosmetic souvenirs. I bought a cheese cake in cheese cake factory. It was so delicious! It is the best cheese cake I had ever eaten.
On the fourth day, I moved to Washington D.C by the train. It took about eight hours. In the train I was very bored, so I spend time sleeping and reading my book. When I arrived at Washington Union station, I took off my jacket because it was much hotter than Boston. I thought, "Is it summer?"
On the fifth day, I visited many memorials such as Jefferson memorial, Washington monument, U.S capitol, Lincoln Memorial and The White House. The color of these memorials was white and the sky was blue. I was moved the beauty of the contrast between white and blue. I couldn't see each memorial slowly and carefully, so I want to visit once more when I travel there by myself.
On the sixth day, I visited Smithsonian Institute. I went to the National Gallery Of Art, the Museum of National History and the Air and Space museum. In National Gallery Of Art, I saw the paintings by Monet, Leonard DaVinci and Vincent Van Gogh. They were so beautiful. I have seen them in my textbook of Art, so I was excited. In the Museum of National History, I saw a diamond. It brings luck. It was so big! I wish I had a big and shiny diamond like this. In the Air and Space museum, I bought space food as a souvenir for my family. I have never eaten it, so I am looking forward to eating it when I go back to Japan.
Although the schedule was so busy, it was really great and I could learn more about American history through the trip. But if I had studied harder before the trip, it might have been easier to understand about the history in the trip. I want to keep studying about it!
