love homestay★

My roommate and I stayed with our host family from May 25th to 27th. It was our third time to stay with them. I enjoy staying with them and look forward to eating delicious meals every time. Our host father likes cooking, and his food tastes very good. On the first day, we went to a restaurant where my host father worked last summer. There were some of his friends working that night and he introduced us to them. Everyone spoke to us kindly, so I was happy and enjoyed having dinner! When we went back home, we soaked in a Jacuzzi as usual. I love that!!!

The next day, we went to Idaho. Then we played Laser Quest and walked around the lake. I was excited to see a plane taking off on the lake. It was amazing. For dinner our host father made hamburgers, and it was good. After that, we roasted marshmallows and ate melted marshmallows with chocolate and graham crackers for dessert. It was so good!! I’ve never eaten such a dessert, so I want to try to make that in Japan.

On the final day, our host mother, our host sister and we went to make a plate or a case. I made a hart-shaped case and painted it red with white spots. I was absorbed in painting that. I really enjoyed making that!! I'm looking forward to the final product. After that, we went to their neighbor's garden for a birthday party, they were celebrating their daughter turning two years old. There were some children and their parents. The birthday cake was too sweet for me to finish. During the party we enjoyed playing with the birthday girl and her friends. They were full of energy and so cute! When I had to say "good-bye" to my host family, I was very sad.
