My experience in America meant me a lot to my life. I came here as a school programme and our
aim to come here and spend about 4 months is to basically improve our toeic scores. It might be more expectations that some students have, owever most of us are really conscious about our toeic scores. Now for me, for my life, it was just four months, but I do think it wasn't just that kind of thing, I mean-through this programme, of course we study new things a lot, like the fact that you would never know without your actual visit, like homestay we could experience the American custom and American people's lives in their house. To accept host daughters are not
so easy. They have to be really careful to fit in all the rules that girls have, like outing and it's obvious but give them their place to stay and give them the chance to experience cultural difference in their house. It's kind of representing their own country and I think I would feel some sorts of pressure about being a hostfamily. Actually we had a host daughter in our house
and it was not an easy to accept host family, even that experience gave us a great pleasure.
My most precious experience here is that I could share my experiences with local people
and I could have meet them. It's just a great, huge thing for me. I've never imagined that I can
meet such a wonderful people. Here at MFWI, I have a teacher who I can say the best. I haven't
been experienced a teacher who can make me say that he or she is the best teacher for me, however, now, I have. I am really happy to say this because it's a quite big change for me
in my 19years of life.
Here, MFWI you can meet wonderful people. Truly.
However you also have to be active to meet many people, so it's up to YOU!
